Top Secret van’t Meulenhof, looking to the future
You always return to where you have success. It is no different in breeding. Euro Horse has already done well with several sons of Carthina Z (Carthago Z x Lys de Darmen), one of the best or perhaps even the best dam of the past decades. Carthina Z is the mother of Emerald and Nixon. We also know her as the mother of Diamanthina with Constant Van Paesschen and Ilusionata with Niels Bruynseels. No dam line has produced as many five star horses as Carthina and her (grand)daughters are clearly inheriting their mother’genes. For example, think of Messi van’t Ruytershof. She is already a great-granddaughter of Carthina Z and won the World Cup in La Coruna in December. She also won the prestigious Nations Cup in Aachen. Messi and Janne Friederike Meyer jumped two clear rounds. Luna van’t Ruytershof is out of the same dam as Messi and is also a great-granddaughter of Carthina Z. Luna became Belgian Champion with Nicola Philippaerts. Good genes don’t lie and that is why Euro Horse bought Top Secret, a direct son of Carthina Z and half-brother of Emerald and Nixon.
SIRE Leandro VG (Gitano van Berkenbroek x Corsica VG Z). He won the Belgian Pavo Stallion competition at the age of 7. He jumped clear rounds at the Longines Ranking (1m45-1m50). He was 2nd in de CSI** Grote Prijs of Lier en 7th at the Sires of the World in Lanaken. One year later, he finished 4th in de CSI** Grote Prijs of Gent.
