This beautiful grey stallion formed a successful combination with his rider Jos Verlooy for several years, his great work, mentality and willpower brought him to the highest level in the sport.

Memorable moments
Caracas had a fantastic win in the Grand-Prix of  CSI5* Rotterdam, and also the CSI5* Grand-Prix Ascona, 2nd in the FEI World Cup Mechelen, 2nd in the GCT Grand-Prix of Mexico  as well as representing Belgium in several FEI Nations Cups not to forget the unforgettable win in the FEI Nations Cup Final of Barcelona.

SIRE: Casall Ask (Caretino x Lavall I) is the legendary jumping stallion by Rolf Goran Bengtsson. They have won countless Grand Prix's, including there very last one at the Global Champions Tour of Hamburg in 2017. In addition, the combination participated in the Olympic Games in London (2012), EK in Herning (2013) where they were individually 4th. And also at the World Championships in Caen (2014) he was individual 4th.

DAM: His dam is a Holstein mare by Colthaga (s.Colman x Barnaul). As far as we know, this is her only offspring and she herself has a career competing  in 1m60 classes. In the 2nd dam line there are several offspring who are active in the international jumping sport.

 

As a young horse, Caracas produced many sucessful horses now competing in Australia.  Since 2017 Caracas has been standing stud at Eurohorse. His offspring are always very beautiful and elegant appearances.

In 2016 Caracas and Jos took 2nd place in the GCT GP of Mexico, and closed the season with a 2nd place in the World Cup leg of Mechelen. In 2017 this combination was a great asset to the Hamburg Diamonds team who won the Global Champions League. They also performed great in the LGCT GP of Valkenswaard where they finished in 4th place. The following year Caracas won the 5* GP of Rotterdam, a 3rd place in the nations Cup of Samorin, and also 3rd in the LGCT GP of Rome. In 2019 he won the 5* GP of Ascona and were also 3rd place in the LGCT GP of Stockholm.
